This is an on-site position at our Greenville, NC, office, ideal for someone who's detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to grow in a supportive, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Review project specifications, drawings, and proposals to prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.</li><li>Collaborate with sales, project managers, and field teams to ensure estimates align with project scope and client needs.</li><li>Maintain and update cost databases, vendor pricing, and subcontractor relationships.</li><li>Assist with bid proposals and follow up on submitted bids.</li><li>Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide input for scheduling and resource planning.</li><li>Support continuous improvement by identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications (training provided if needed).</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with estimating software a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.</li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</li><li>Valid driver's license.</li><li>Willingness to learn and grow, experience in estimating or construction is a plus, but not required.</li></ul> Compensation<ul><li>Full time position</li><li>Starting at&nbsp;$55,000, based on experience and qualifications</li><li>Health insurance (50% company-paid for employee coverage)</li><li>Dental, Vision, and Aflac are offered</li><li>401(k) with company match (100% match up to 4% of salary).</li><li>Paid vacation (starting after 1 year), holidays, and flexible time off.</li><li>Life insurance options.</li><li>Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.</li><li>A supportive, family-oriented work environment with a commitment to your success.</li></ul> Apply TodayIf you're ready to join a trusted, growing company where your work makes an impact, we want to hear from you.&nbsp; McCord Construction, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
