We are a second-generation, family-run company built on trust, craftsmanship, safety, and service.We're looking for an experienced Floor Coatings &amp; Concrete Polishing Technician to help lead crews on commercial and industrial flooring projects. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with flooring experience, leadership ability, strong attention to detail, and pride in doing the job right.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist with floor coatings, concrete polishing, surface prep, and epoxy flooring projects.</li><li>Operate grinders, polishers, vacuums, hand grinders, and related flooring equipment safely and correctly.</li><li>Follow direction from the Project Manager, Crew Lead, GC, and site superintendent as needed.</li><li>Help complete daily goals and stay on task within assigned work areas.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite, truck, trailer, and staging area.</li><li>Follow PPE requirements, safety procedures, and professional conduct expectations.</li><li>Support teammates and help maintain quality, efficiency, and company standards.</li><li>Track materials, inspect equipment, report broken tools, and assist with daily logs.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of flooring experience required.</li><li>Experience with concrete polishing, epoxy coatings, surface prep, grinders, and flooring equipment preferred.</li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.</li><li>Strong work ethic, punctuality, professionalism, and willingness to keep learning.</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Full-time position</li><li>Competitive hourly pay based on experience</li><li>Health insurance, 50% company-paid for employee coverage</li><li>Dental, Vision, and Aflac offered</li><li>401(k) with company match, 100% match up to 4% of salary</li><li>Paid vacation after 1 year, holidays, and flexible time off</li><li>Life insurance options</li><li>Uniform shirts and safety gear provided as needed</li><li>Ongoing training and growth opportunities</li><li>Supportive, family-oriented work environment</li></ul>Apply TodayIf you're ready to bring your flooring experience to a trusted, growing company where craftsmanship, leadership, and professionalism matter, we want to hear from you.McCord Contractors, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
